FEMALE FOOTBALL AT PEAKHURST UNITED

Peakhurst United F.C is a family-oriented club that has grown over many years to become one of the largest female soccer clubs within the St George Football Association.

Our Strategic directions focus on closely nurturing our junior players, ranging from under 6’s up to under 17’s and this has been evident with the club’s success over the past 5 years. In particular, Peakhurst United has had an increase in female participation, with teams ranging from U6 all the way through to All Age Women’s competitions.

UNITED GIRL POWER

Peakhurst United has female representation at all levels of our club, from Players to Coaches and Managers, Junior and Senior referees, and Committee members, which all play a pivotal part of our club. At Peakhurst United FC we cater for females of all ages and abilities.

PUFC FEMALE TEAMS INCLUDE:

Girls only – Junior Non Competition teams from U6 through to U11’s

Girls only – Junior Competition Teams in U12’s, U14’s & U16’s

Female Competition teams – All Age Women A’s & All Age Women B’s

The appointment of a Junior Female Coach Coordinator (Tom Golden) has enabled the club to develop a structured plan and support program to further improve the football experience for our female players and their coaches.

With a level C Level License and Accreditation in Coaching, Tom works collaboratively with all of our Female players, Coaches and Manager to enhance their skill set, develop individual players ability and potential, and to empower our young girls to thrive not only on the football field but beyond.

WOMENS CHARITY COMMITMENTS

Each year Peakhurst United is hosts to the annual “Women in Football – Pink Ribbon Gala Day Tournament”. Established by our long serving committee member Leanne Smith. With over 30 team registering each year, Peakhurst United FC is not only proud to support and help raise funds for breast cancer research, but also an advocate to promote female participation in the game we all love known as football.
